Women's Ministry
Our Women's Ministry organization is composed of women from all different walks of life with one common goal, and that is to point the way to Jesus. Our mission is to uplift, mentor, and encourage women to be Godly examples. We are composed of teams, each one focusing on different needs of women. You are invited to sample and join any one or more of these teams on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. We meet with the men for supper, and then break off to our respective meetings.
The teams and their leaders are:
WMU Team ~ This Group is dedicated to praying, serving, and keeping us aware of the needs of our missionaries near and far.
Missions/Evangelism Team ~ This group is dedicated to improving and helping with the needs of local missions in the community such as Fairhaven Children's Home, Restoration House, Baptist Children's Home, and Community Hospitals with Prayer, service, and keeping us aware of their needs.
In reach/Outreach Team ~ This group is dedicated to welcoming and contacting new women in church, managing the Welcome Center, Mentoring women, coordinating meals for surgery, illness, and childbirth, and mailing birthday cards to our Women's Ministry members.
In-depth Bible Study Team ~ This group is dedicated to providing bible studies by inspired and talented people that give a clearer understanding of God's Word and how to apply it to our lives.
Social Events Team ~ This group is dedicated to providing social functions in which women will fellowship together and experience Christian joy at bridal showers, baby showers, receptions, banquets, the annual Women's Christmas party, and Women's Ministries social.
Special Events Team ~ This group is dedicated to providing special speakers and activities such as seminars, conferences, publicity, retreats, fund raisers, and surveys designed to help women grow spiritually and develop skills as well as God given gifts in women.
