Mission Team Support
- we pray for and fully support our Mission Team. We participate in missions wherever and whenever we can.
Missions Offerings - we support missionaries locally and throughout the world via the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, Georgia Barrette Offering for State Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
Bible Study Opportunities
We have two great opportunities for Bible Study each year - one in the Spring and one in the Fall.Prayer Opportunities
The Women on Mission meet once a quarter to discuss ministry and mission opportunities and to pray for missionaries. Watch the church calendar for the dates.Ministry Opportunities for Women on Mission
Homebound & Nursing Home Ministry - This ministry involves visiting and ministering to our homebound and nursing home residents.Ministry to New Mothers - We minister to new mothers by giving baby showers for members who are first time mothers. We take a meal and words of encouragement to second time mothers.
Fairhaven Children's Home - In May each year we collect dry cereal for the children at Fairhaven Children's Home in Folsom, LA.
Bridal Showers - We minister to our member who are brides-to-be by giving them a bridal shower.
Cans for the Kids Food Roundup - We collect canned and dry goods for the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA every fall.
Christmas for the Kids at Bullhead, SD - We gather Christmas gifts for the native Indian children in Bullhead, SD this past Christmas and look forward to the opportunity this year.
